April 13, 2026, Paris – Saft, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal for 2025, with an overall score of 87/100. Saft was among the first companies in the battery industry to receive the EcoVadis Platinum medal and has now maintained this distinction for the third consecutive year.

This result places Saft in the 99th percentile of companies evaluated worldwide, confirming its position among the top-performing organizations in terms of corporate social responsibility and sustainability according to the EcoVadis assessment criteria.

EcoVadis assesses companies on their sustainability management systems, based on policies, actions and results across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Saft demonstrated strong and consistent performance across all these dimensions.

Sustained actions across the entire organization

This renewed Platinum medal reflects the consistency of Saft’s sustainability management systems across its global operations, as assessed by EcoVadis. The evaluation notably recognizes Saft’s structured approach to energy management, climate‑related actions and the application of lifecycle‑based design principles, as reflected in its sustainability management systems.

Saft also continues to promote safe, inclusive and responsible workplaces, supported by clear policies, training programs and ongoing dialogue with employees.

High standards of business ethics remain a priority, with robust governance, compliance processes and regular employee awareness programs in place across the company.

Finally, Saft works closely with its suppliers to promote responsible and sustainable sourcing, integrating environmental and social criteria throughout its value chain.

A clear path of continuous improvement

EcoVadis score has improved steadily over the years, rising from 73/100 in 2022 to 87/100 in 2025, demonstrating the company’s ability to make sustained progress year after year.
