Looking back at Boston

In May, innovators from across the connected technology world gathered in Boston, Massachusetts for Saft’s IoT Innovation Day 2026 for a day dedicated to collaboration, insight sharing, and the future of connected power solutions.

Building on the momentum of last year’s successful event in Paris, this year’s edition brought together developers, engineers, startups and global technology leaders to exchange ideas and explore how battery innovation continues to shape the rapidly evolving IoT landscape.

Centered around the theme “Powering Your Connected World”, the event featured a packed agenda of exhibitions, fast-paced tech talks and conversations focused on solving real-world power challenges for connected applications.

Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from Saft specialists on the latest developments in battery technology, lifecycle monitoring tools and application support services designed to help accelerate IoT innovation.

Tom Willis, Marketing Director for Saft’s Connected Smart Energy (CSE) business, said the event highlighted the value of bringing diverse perspectives together under one roof.
